Pumpkin Chocolate Chip Cookies

Chocolate Chip Pumpkin Cookies
I purchased my turkey for Thanksgiving this morning and it magically & instantly put me in the holiday mood.  Simple as that; poultry = holiday festivities!  Simple on ingredients but BIG on tasty fall flavors, this oldie but goody was found and slightly modified from All Recipes.

Ingredients
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 teaspoons milk
  • 2 cups pumpkin
  • 1 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 cup oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 4 cups flour
  • 4 teaspoons baking powder
  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 12 oz bag chocolate chips

Directions
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  1. Dissolve baking soda in milk; set aside. In large bowl add pumpkin, sugar, oil, and eggs; stir. 
  2. Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon, cloves, salt and baking soda mixture. Mix well. 
  3. Stir in chocolate chips. 
  4. Spoon onto cookie sheet and bake 10 to 12 minutes.
Makes approximately 5 dozen cookies.
